Bream is catch of the day for club

THE results of the competition held by the Casterton Angling Society on Sunday, 20 November, saw only five brave souls venture out and battle the wind and rain to compete for the trophies on offer.

Heaviest fish went to Terry Sealey with a bream weighing 430 grams and heaviest bag to Brian Murrell with a bream and estuary perch weighing 645 grams.

The next competition will be held in open waters on Sunday, December, fishing from 7am to 5pm with the weigh-in at Island Park.
