REGIONAL Victorians will face restrictions for the next three months under the State Government’s regional roadmap released Sunday.

Premier, Daniel Andrews said if the state reopened now there would be a high likelihood of a third wave before the end of the year.

“We can’t run out of lockdown - we have to take safe and steady steps out of lockdown to find the new COVID normal,” he said. “We would all like to open up as soon as possible, we would all like to find a COVID normal or go back to normal as soon as possible, that is not the nature of the virus, it is wicked in many ways, it spreads silently and spreads rapidly.”
