“It’s time to be loud and proud about MS”

HAMILTON local, Lisa Grayland is taking up the MS Walk, Run and Roll event this October to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS) research.

The annual event has been operating since 2014 and is usually held across Australia, but due to COVID-19, this year’s event will become virtual.

Lisa encouraged everyone to complete the walk, run or roll locally – whether it was completed indoors with a treadmill or cross trainer or outside on a walking path.

“I’m asking people to get out there and participate to raise awareness not only to raise virtual funds but to stop the stigma that you need to be in a wheelchair to have MS,” she said.
