Woman dies in the Grampians

A 38-YEAR-OLD Craigieburn woman died when she fell from the Boroka Lookout in the Grampians on Saturday afternoon.

Victoria Police will begin to prepare a report for the corner this week after she slipped on a barrier about 3pm.

SES and police retrieved the woman's body from the scene after about six hours.

Her death was not being treated as suspicious.

It is believed the woman was holidaying in the region with her husband and young son.

Visitors to the popular lookout have been warned to take care and not to climb any safety barriers.
