Boonaroo Angus sale waiting for COVID-19 news

BOONAROO Angus has a sale day coming up this Friday with 125 angus bulls on offer and owner, Jodie Foster told Casterton News the signs were good based on the two field days they had, one at ‘Clifton’ in Hamilton, and the other one at the Corndale property.

“We had a really good day,” she said.

“We had quite a few people come through the gates, probably about 75 people visited and looked right through the bulls, so they could make their selections ready for sale day next week.

“We had people from as far north as Geranium in South Australia … and as far east as Warrnambool, Colac (and) Birregurra.”

Ms Foster was also pleased with the earlier field day at Hamilton, enabling people to see what Boonaroo had to offer.

“The one at Clifton we only take 40 of this our sale bulls over,” she said.

“So it's good for people that have not seen our genetics before.

“As they’re touring through the five or six studs that are open around Hamilton, they can have a quick look at everyone’s programs, and then you often see them come to the second field day and see the whole run of bulls to make their selections.
