The Obsidian Room gets behind the GFA

THE Obsidian Room will host a fundraising event tomorrow for the 90th anniversary of the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal (GFA).

The boutique Hamilton cocktail bar will donate $1 from every drink sale, along with all proceeds from various competitions and raffles, to the GFA.

Obsidian Room owner, Lyn Lewis was thrilled to be part of such a great cause and said there were many reasons to come along and have some fun.

“The main thing is people can just come in and have a drink for a good cause or sit back and have a glass of wine and do something good for the community,” she said.

There are many fundraising activities and prizes, including a raffle for a huge party basket including wine and beer, an easter egg jar guessing game, and a kid’s environment with a colouring competition.

Local car enthusiasts will also be displaying their hot rods, organised by South West Street Rodders coordinator, Jack Arnel.
