Eased restrictions

REGIONAL Victoria’s COVID-19 restrictions will again ease as of 11:59pm tonight, with the residents able to again visit family members in hospitals and care facilities.

Families and friends will again be able to see their loved ones after acting premier, James Merlino announced the easing of restrictions yesterday.

Hospitals and care facility visits will be capped at two people per visit and a maximum of five people per day for any resident or patient.

Funeral and wedding cap numbers are again on the rise with up to 300 people allowed to attend, as long as the people per square metre density requirements are met.
