RETIREMENT is approaching fast for Norm Pech of Beaurepaires Hamilton – Friday he says goodbye to his workplace of over 53 years for the last time and leaves his work at the tyre business behind.

For more than five decades he has learned and mastered the science of making sure a wide range of vehicles cover roads and uneven ground the way they were meant to, and earlier this week he was happy to reflect on his career as a wheel aligner and the changes he had seen.
