Lockdown misery

THE effects of repeated lockdowns on the community continues to be a growing concern as mental health data gathers that young people especially are struggling.

Additional criticism has been directed at the State Government, with the claim recently revealed statistics from the Victorian Agency for Health Information (VAHI) were hidden from the public.

Lowan MP and mental health shadow minister, Emma Kealy said the information was normally made publicly available but this time was delayed, sent out to doctors only and came with a disclaimer claiming it was confidential.

“It’s a report that would usually just be sent out regularly,” she told The Spectator.
