JOINING the vaccine queue at Western District Health Service (WDHS) on Thursday were a number of teenage Greater Hamilton residents, who were finally able to receive Pfizer doses following the decision to lower the age of availability to those aged 16 years and older.

Year 11 Monivae student, Eleanor Goodsell, 17, was among those and the timeline by which she turned up until she was processed after receiving her first shot was quite short – barely over half an hour.
