Getting active for mental health research

HAMILTON woman, Scarlett Hutchins has set out on an important journey to walk 80 kilometres to raise vital funds for mental health research.

Ms Hutchins saw the impact mental health could have on an individual after her dad took his life five years ago and now dedicated her time and resources mental health research.

October is when the Walk for Mental Health officially kicks off, but Ms Hutchins is wasting no time, having already logged 20 kilometres.
