Businesses open to possible vaccination rules

REGIONAL Victoria’s hospitality businesses could receive a reprieve with a possible trial period allowing their doors to open to double vaccinated clients being considered.

While the decision hasn’t yet been set in stone, pubs and restaurants in regional Victorian areas with low case numbers could potentially reopen their doors in the coming weeks as part of a government trial. Conversations have begun with the government likely to introduce a new public health order protecting businesses from being accused of discrimination when denying patrons entry if they haven’t received two vaccine doses.
