AS the pandemic stretches on, the impact on mental health has come into clearer focus, leading the State Government to this week announce funding to improve mental health support services.

On Tuesday, deputy premier James Merlino announced a further $22 million was set to be invested in mental health support. The investment will include 20 new pop-up services, with eight to be located in regional Victoria, to reduce the reliance on emergency services
