HAMILTON woman, Katy McMahon is hoping to raise some much-needed funds to provide clean water for people in developing countries, through her passion for baking.
Ms McMahon said the ‘Cakes for Clean Water’ initiative was to help change people’s lives and she has set a goal of reaching $2600 by her 26th birthday next March.
“This all started from baking as a hobby and I came across a charity called ‘Charity Water’ where 100 per cent of the money goes to charity,” she said.
