THIS week is Foster Care Week, recognising those families who take in children in desperate need of help, and MacKillop Family Services is asking for more help within the region.

Every year, thousands of children find themselves in a situation where it is no longer safe for them to live at home.

MacKillop Family Services helps link safe homes with kids and young people in need, but now needs more safe homes and families to put their hands up and help with the demand.
