DESPITE the admission that, as far as she was aware “they’ve had no (COVID-19) cases in Casterton”, South Australian Chief Health Officer, Nicole Spurrier has not completely eased restrictions for Victorian border community residents entering her state.
Professor Spurrier announced on Friday the immediate easing of restrictions for three south-east South Australian council areas and the extension of the cross-border bubble back to 70 kilometres in Victoria – excluding the town of Portland – after just one Tier 4 exposure site was determined, related to a Mount Gambier woman who tested positive to the virus on October 3.
