VICTORIAN COVID-19 response commander, Jeroen Weimar has confirmed the Mount Gambier woman diagnosed with the virus did not contract it in Casterton.
South Australian Chief Health Officer, Nicole Spurrier announced the COVID-positive case at a press conference on October 3, alleging that the woman had been “staying with relatives” in Casterton when she became ill, based on what is believed to be information given by the woman when she crossed the border back into South Australia, two days earlier.
