THE first cases of coronavirus in Glenelg Shire since August last year have so far spread no further than the family which contracted it.
Three positive tests were returned by a Portland family on Tuesday, following a week of the virus being detected in the city’s wastewater.
While those tests don’t quite line up with wastewater detections – samples returned clear over the weekend and it was present before the family was believed to have contracted it – there have been no more positive cases recorded. More details in Friday's Observer.
