AFTER 20 days of free parking in the CBD, Hamilton locals are back to looking through their bags for loose change to fill the parking meters.

The free parking initiative was introduced by the Southern Grampians Shire Council on September 10 and finished just over two weeks ago on September 30.

The parking was free; however, the time limits were still in place to allow a convenient shopping experience for all customers – they were left uncovered for that reason.
