SHADOW treasurer, David Davis has criticised the State Government for the latest employment figures, claiming Victorian workers face fewer opportunities as jobs and working hours diminish.

Data released recently by the Australian Bureau of Statistics confirms that 123,000 fewer Victorians were employed between August and September 2021, compared to the two prior months, making it the largest fall in the nation.

Across this same period, employment grew in Queensland by 31,000 people.
