FROM 6pm Friday, people from Regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne will be able to travel freely around the state as a result of the 80 per cent vaccination target being met this Friday - almost a week ahead of schedule.

The Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC), chief executive officer, Felicia Mariani said it was a great day for all Victorian businesses which had suffered for so long. “We’ve eyed with envy the freedom celebrations over the past few days, while our industry remained on ice until we reached the 80 per cent target,” she said.
