FOR the second year in a row the annual Milltown Old Time Wood Days has been called off, with COVID-19 restrictions still hampering events state-wide.

Although the much-loved event cannot go forward in its traditional capacity this year, organisers Andrew and Christine Duyvestyn are still determined to mark the occasion, with one of the highlights on the day – the event’s annual auction – heading online.

In 2020, the “virtual” Wood Days raised almost $10,000 for children’s cancer research through an online auction and the duo, along with Hamilton “tech guru”, Cindy Riddle, hope to at least match last year’s effort.
