HAMILTON’S 315 Army Cadet Unit (ACU) has faced plenty of challenges in its inaugural year, but recruits and cadets showed remarkable “resilience and enthusiasm”.

It was a special event at Wednesday night’s parade with the first promotions to rank from within the unit, which marked an exciting milestone for many of the cadets.

Promotions were received following a presentation to the selection panel and recommendations from the senior training cadets at the Monivae ACU.
