CAMERAS installed on road poles in key locations around Hamilton drew interest and speculation from residents, and the Shire issued a statement to explain their presence.

Southern Grampians Shire infrastructure director, Marg Scanlon said they were part of a survey of traffic in the region for the purpose of planning decisions.
