MOYNE Shire Councillors will elect a new mayor at Tuesday’s council meeting, after incumbent Cr Daniel Meade announced he would not seek re-election.
Cr Meade has served the past two terms as mayor and said he looked forward to working with the new mayor and his fellow councillors to ensure Moyne recovered strongly from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Over the past two years I have had the privilege of seeing how strong and resilient our communities are in the face of so much uncertainty,” he said.
