POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Digby on Sunday night.

A 57-year-old Merino man died after crashing his car on the side of Portland-Casterton Road and emergency services were called to attend the scene after a passer-by located the vehicle about 5.45pm.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and no other cars were involved but the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
