IT’S going to be a case of second time lucky on Saturday when the big cannon at Battery Point will finally be fired again.

The 80-pound cannon was set to be fired on August 1 to celebrate 150 years of the Royal Australian Artillery (now the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery), but it was postponed due to the coronavirus restrictions at the time.
