RESIDENTS in the Grampians have won a battle against a State Government plan that proposed re-introducing dingoes into the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park.

The decision was announced Tuesday in the Victorian Government’s Greater Gariwerd Landscape Management Plan, prepared by Parks Victoria Barengi Gadjin Land Council Aboriginal Corporation, Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation, and Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation.
