DARTMOOR Police are currently investigating a sexual exposure in a public place that occurred in Nelson in early November.  

Investigators were told that just before 3pm on November 2, 2021, a woman arrived at Nelson Beach and was approached by a man shortly later.

The man attempted to strike up a conversation with her before he commenced undressing and exposing himself to her while naked.

The 30-year-old woman immediately left the area and called police.

To assist with the investigation, detectives have released an image of a man they are hoping to identify.

The man is described to be Caucasian in appearance, aged between 50 and 60-years-old, 180cm tall, slightly overweight with a large stomach, grey/blue eyes, grey hair with a fair complexion, and scaly wrinkled skin.
