INTERNATIONAL documentary film makers, Peter and Andrea Hylands who were staying in Dunkeld last week, were disappointed to discover those who visit to experience the wildlife and the tranquility of the bush might also hear gunshots from a thriving kangaroo culling industry.

The Hylands were visiting to undertake filming and photography of native species for their film company, Creative Cowboys, their website describing it as a global media broadcaster in film and publishing; they make documentaries, publish blogs, e-books and e-magazines about art, culture and nature.
