LAUREN Brown of Hamilton has welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, Peyton Quinn Brown, on Australia Day with the extra special coincidence of being born at 3:36am and weighing exactly 3.36 kilograms.

Every year, the Australia Day Council recognises the special privilege of babies born on Australia day, January 26, by presenting the parents with a silver spoon engraved with the Australian coat of arms to celebrate the nation's anniversary.
