LOCAL Forest industries have welcomed the Australian Government’s recent announcement to invest more than $86 million over five years to support the establishment of new plantations in Wannon.

Wannon MP, Dan Tehan said the funding would lock-in future wood supply and they were looking to partner with the Victorian Government to deliver it through a grants program, as a key component of the National Forest Industries Plan.
