HAMILTON Police are investigating vandalism at the Dunkeld Recreation Reserve earlier this week, which left some areas of the reserve tagged with graffiti.

Hamilton Police sergeant, Simon Bourke said the graffiti was believed to be completed between 7pm on Monday, March 14, and 4.30pm on Tuesday, March 15.

“People noticed graffiti in several locations around the reserve including the CFA water tank, gas bottle, club rooms, play equipment such as the slide, and sponsor sign,” he said.

“It was done in thick black paint or texta and appears to be the work of ‘Casper’.”

Sergeant Bourke encouraged anyone with information about the graffiti to contact the Hamilton Police Station on 5551 9100.
