MAX Beaton is one of many local children celebrated as a Royal Childrens Hospital success story.
Max was diagnosed with an inoperable Pilyocytic Astrocytoma tumour – a brain tumour measuring around 45mm – in 2019 and underwent successful chemotherapy treatment at the hospital.
Back to his former, bubbly self, enjoying all of the adventures a seven-year-old boy should, Max was happy to head into Casterton Central to test out the quality of the ‘frothy coffee’ (or mock-achino in Max’s case!) with Bronwyn and Lionel Balzan, Dani McCombe and Donna Jarrad, ahead of this Friday’s Good Friday Appeal party.
