THE upgrade to Baimbridge College is now complete, and the school is inviting all interested parties to attend its unofficial opening next week on Thursday, May 5.
Building capacity leader, John Hill said that “a whole generations of staff, students, parents and leaders” have waited for this to come to fruition and “what was once deemed a fairytale by many has finally become a reality”.
The day will start at 10am with tours going through the new building and facilities with classes in session, but attendees are asked to arrive at 9.45am for group allocation.
At 11am there will be a ceremony with speeches and the ribbon cutting by principal, Warwick Price, and Southern Grampians Shire mayor, Bruach Colliton, with morning tea provided afterwards.
Parking will be available on Mt Baimbridge Rd and in carparks located on Mt Baimbridge Rd and High St.
Registrations are required on the website at baimbridge.vic.edu.au.
