GRAY Street, between Brown and Cox Street, has been reduced to one lane yesterday, today and tomorrow to allow for urgent kerb and channel works on the west side of Gray Street.

The road will be under traffic management for the duration of the works.

The kerb and channel maintenance requirements outside the old fire station have been identified as requiring works to help with water drainage and tree roots.

It is expected to take around three days to complete, with other maintenance work at similar CBD locations now finished.

Council advises residents to allow extra time or seek an alternate route while the urgent works are ongoing.
