THE Lions’ Skin Check and Awareness Unit will be visiting Casterton on Saturday and Sunday, 14 and 15 May.
Located near the Kelpie Centre in Wathen Street, community members are invited to visit the unit for a 15-minute skin test.
The tests are conducted by a team of trained dermoscopists.

On Sunday the Lions will also be helping with the gates and parking at the Casterton Cup.
As the Covid-19 restrictions are gradually being relaxed in Casterton, the Lions Club was pleased to enjoy the hospitality of the Casterton Primary School for its 21 April dinner meeting.
A delightful roast dinner with a selection of tasty desserts delighted the assembled gathering.
Preparations for the preliminary rounds of the Young Youth of the Year Competition are in the process of being organised.
Students from Casterton Primary School, Coleraine Primary School, Sacred Heart and St Joseph’s are invited to prepare a three-minute speech to be delivered to their school community and Lions Judges in mid-May.
The top two performing students from each school (eight in total) are invited to a Young Youth of the Year Final at the Masonic Lodge on Wednesday, 1 June at 7pm.

The Queen’s Birthday Kelpie Weekend Celebrations are back on 11,12 and 13 June.
The Lions Club will be holding the Poets’ Breakfast, barbeque and foodstall on Saturday morning.
Sunday afternoon is the time for practice for our 11 debutantes and their partners as they prepare for our 27 May Pipes and Drums Debutantes Ball.
At the time of writing, it does appear that we will be able to have bigger numbers at the downstairs tables and also in the $10 balcony viewing area.
