ROTARY Hamilton presented their annual ‘Pride of Workmanship Awards’ at their meeting on May 11, with eight locals recognised for their outstanding approach, attitude, dedication, and commitment to their job.
The ‘Pride of Workmanship Awards’ encourage job satisfaction in all vocations, and provide employers and members of the public with an opportunity to recognise employees who display the qualities worthy of an award.
The award also encourages favourable employer/employee relationships and a sense of community pride in individual achievement, while providing Rotary clubs an opportunity to be involved in the business community.
This year, the successful Rotary Hamilton ‘Pride of Workmanship Awards’ recipients were:
Rotary Hamilton director of vocational services, James Dishon, said he believed this year’s awardees all met the very high criteria required to receive these awards, and played exceptional job roles with their respective employers.
The ‘Pride of Workmanship Awards’ program commenced in 1976 and has a theme of “Do it once – do it well”.
