THE chills continue at Casterton halfway through the winter season with a slightly colder than average July so far.
Last Wednesday, 6 July was the coldest day so far with a low of 0.8 degrees, while the weekend was wet without the wild at a cumulative 7.4 millimetres from Friday through to Sunday.
Yesterday morning, Casterton was shrouded in a blanket of fog.
The next week promises to be no different, with temperatures to go as low as three degrees and a high chance of rain most days.
As much as 10 millimetres of rain could fall on Sunday, 17 July.
