Line dancing night

BOOTSCOOTING is coming to town this Tuesday with Kate and Claire from Hoedowns For Country Towns bringing a night of line dancing fun.

They have been travelling through the country introducing people to the enjoyable activity since March and have been through Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and South Australia.

Claire has been dancing her whole life and Kate loved the remake of Footloose as a kid and both discovered line dancing about five years ago.

They met each other a few months later at a class and agreed it’d be fun to one day line dance around the country.

The event is a fundraiser for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and costs $15.

All are welcome including beginners, there are prizes for best dressed and bring a plate of dinner food to share if you can.

The event is on Tuesday, September 27 from 6-8.30pm at the Hamilton Masonic Centre on Lonsdale Street.
