AFTER a lengthy delay, the Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre (BBNC) will be having its official project opening this Monday, September 26 in conjunction with its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This event will be the culmination of significant work by the Board, staff, volunteers and BBNC partners who contributed through planning, consultation, fundraising, troubleshooting and hands-on hard work to achieve wonderful results.

The official proceedings will mark the completion of the following capital and minor works projects:

BBNC / Ambulance Victoria Colocation Project

Safety and Security Project

Information Technology Upgrade Project

Floor Covering Renewal Project

Landscaping Project

Commencing at 2pm, the AGM is an opportunity for the challenges, achievements and milestones of the previous year to be acknowledged.

The guest speaker this year is chief paramedic officer for Victoria, adjunct associate professor, Alan Eade.

At 3.30pm, the official project openings will be followed by afternoon tea and guided tours of the facility.

Several financial contributors will also be acknowledged on the day, with Ambulance Victoria and Coleraine Community Bank participating in proceedings.
