TODAY’S youth were not wild and crazy revolutionists, well-known Melbourne television speaker, Colin Goodwin, said in Hamilton yesterday afternoon. All they wanted was honesty, a certain amount of integrity and rationality, he said. Mr. Goodwin, who was educated at Melbourne University and in Rome, was in Hamilton to address a conference on conscience and morality, attended by Hamilton secondary school students. Speaking on today’s senior students, he said they were immensely sophisticated and were indeed capable of discussing today’s social problems. Mr. Goodwin said he had noted a tremendous leap forward in the general sophistication and forthrightness in students.
