LOCAL fire danger rating signs have now been replaced, bringing them in line with a new, standardised Australia-wide rating system.
The consistent system means visitors to the region and locals traversing other parts of Australia will see the same rating system wherever they go.
It was greenlit last month and signs have been progressively installed across the country since.
The new signs bear four coloured categories identifying the threat posed to the local community if a fire were to start, as opposed to the six categories on the former signs.
More details on the signs and ratings can be found on the CFA website.
