Port Fairy Folk Festival 2023 Third Line-Up

EVEN more artists have joined the impressive list of performers for The Port Fairy Folk Festival 2023 after the third artist line-up was announced.

Held over the long weekend from March 10-13, 2023, The Folk Festival is set to feature a series of impressive acts, with the third release artists joining a superb round of folk performers including 19-Twenty, Ajak Kwai, Anna Smyrk, Baby Velvet, The Badloves and Colin Lillie.

Artists from America have been announced, including Early James, and Eilen Jewell, with other acts including Andrew Gurruwiwi Band, Blues Roulette, Bud Rokesky, Gallie, Georgia Mooney, and Georgia State Line.

The recently released third line-up also includes The Southern Ocean Sea Band, Skyscraper Stan, William Crighton, English artist, Jon Boden, and Canadian artist, Scott Cook.

Port Fairy Folk Festival program director, Justin Rudge, said with such an extraordinary list of performers, he anticipates the 2023 Folk Festival will be one of the best.

“The Folkie is getting bigger and more exciting with every artist announcement,” he said. 

“This third round of artists is incredibly diverse and represents so much of what the festival is about.

“I’m personally so excited to see so many new and unique artists coming to Port Fairy next March, and a big thanks to Creative Victoria for their support as we head towards our 50th anniversary festival in 2027.”
