Shire-wide hunt on again for Christmas 'Glenelfs'

THE Glenelf Hunt is back in action, with Santa’s elves on the run again in the Casterton CBD and families invited to find them again.

Following its popular showing in 2021, the Glenelg Shire Council has reintroduced the initiative to help encourage local shopping and ignite the Christmas spirit over the 2022 festive season.

Families can head on a ‘hunt’ to find the series of elves resting in the CBD, collect stickers from them and submit an entry form to Santa’s mailbox in the Casterton Library.

Each week, two winners will be drawn at random and receive a $100 local shopping voucher while the elves move around to be hunted again.

Entry forms with their Glenelf Hunt maps are available to collect from the Casterton Town Hall, participating businesses or to download from the Glenelg Shire website.
