This is a very easy and quick slice to make.
Ingredients
BASE
1 packet Arnott’s Milk Arrowroot biscuits, crushed
1 packet slivered almonds, lightly toasted
120g butter
2 tblsp golden syrup
¾ cup condensed milk
TOPPING
60g copha
1 large block Cadbury Hazelnut chocolate
METHOD
In a large bowl, combine biscuits and almonds.
In a saucepan, slowly melt the butter. Then add the golden syrup and condensed milk.
Once melted together, simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Add the butter mixture to the biscuits and almonds and mix well.
Press into a lined lamington tin. Place in fridge while preparing topping.
To make the topping, melt together the copha and chocolate, then pour over base. Place in fridge to set.
