THE National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) has had a mixed response to the Federal Government’s response to a review of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

The EPBC Act is intended to have a review every 10 years “to check how effective the Act is at protecting our environment and heritage” and the most recent one led by Professor Graeme Samuel AC was started in October 2019 and received by the Federal Government almost exactly a year later.
