THE state has rebounded above and beyond expectations as tourism has returned in a big way with the most recent numbers showing the Victorian economy is almost back to what it was pre-pandemic.

Victoria’s visitor economy is now worth $26.5 billion which is 84 per cent of pre-pandemic level and the peak season is almost completely back to normal.
