FORGET the beach, Wannon was the place to be last weekend as 76 keen youths and their trusty steeds converged for the Wannon River Campdraft Inc., Youth Camp, under the auspices of the Southern Campdrafting Associated Ltd (SCA).

Growing at a rate of 12 per cent every year, campdrafting is becoming increasingly popular and last weekend’s event proved the uniquely Australian horse sport is attracting more local young riders to the arena.
