I make this slice and use it as a dessert. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or a dollop of cream.
Ingredients:
1½ cups plain flour
¾ cup caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 eggs
¼ cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
180g softened butter
14 apricots (tinned)
